After the last battle with Dear Daddy, it seemed like he finally accepted Boyfriend, and even gave him a new Sonic Mania game. But unfortunately, it turned out to be another trap. When Boyfriend started up the new game, he was pulled inside. The guy found himself in a pixel world, where instead of Sonic, he met Metal Boyfriend. Dear Daddy went to great lengths to create a Metallic copy of Boyfriend so that he could destroy the guy and become Girlfiend's bodyguard.

Boyfriend will not give up without a fight, which will take place to the rhythms of the following songs: "Funky Stardust", "Dopplebanger", "Dead or Alive", "Dead or Alive Encore" and "Dopplebanger Old". There will only be one survivor left, so you need to help the original Boyfriend perform the songs and win.
