FNF Sonic The Funk is a mod for FNF featuring new gameplay mechanics that involve not only performing songs but also collecting rings to stay in the game and reach the finals. Start the Adventure mode after mastering the basic combat mechanics. Collect more rings than your opponent to win. You play as various characters from the Sonic universe, trying to out-sing them in every battle, and most importantly, demonstrate your agility and collect more rings.

As before, you sing along to the notes by pressing the arrow keys when the arrows touch their silhouettes. But that’s not the main focus of this mode. You’ll need to collect rings by striking your opponent right in the middle of the battle. Using the Spacebar, your character jumps and strikes; the left mouse button lets you collect rings, but you need to do it quickly before your opponent grabs them. Your goal is to avoid running out of rings entirely—otherwise you’ll lose—and by the end of the round, it’s crucial to have a larger collection than your opponent.
